Hiking in Breckenridge

Jeff and I made three 14'ers in one day (that's three 14,000 ft peaks in one day for all us flatlanders that don't have the Mtn lingo down).

6a.m. at the trailhead.

First saddle around 7a.m.
Democrat Peak at 8:15a.m.

...on our way to Cameron.

#3, Lincoln, 14,286 ft above sea level. I'm not actually praying...I have my thumbs tucked in my chest straps.

the Amazing View

it's always faster down than up

Wow, nice job on the 14er! Wait a minute...I swear I have that same exact picture of you in the second frame from about 5 years ago. This was all done against a green screen, wasn't it!

I kind of like the pics from your earlier blog entries though with the kiddies. I just cannot get over how much lauren has changed. Make her stop!
